PRODUCT
DESCRIPTION
CGE series crusher is economical. This series can provide different rotor designs. The rotor width covers 500mm to 1400mm. The rotor adopts high-efficiency double-scissor cutting technology. The welded cavity of the entire steel structure is combined with the V-shaped rotor to ensure stable machine operation and reliable performance. The compact body design facilitates cavity maintenance, quick cleaning and replacement of rotary knives, fixed knives and screens.
CGE series economical crusher is suitable for on-line recycling of plastic production lines. It has special cutting technology to recover various small hollow materials, including injection mold parts, blow mold parts, profiles, sheets, films and other materials. The recycled flakes are uniform.
ADVANTAGES
- Dual-scissor rotor technology for precise hollow material processing
- Quick-change blades/screens (30% faster maintenance)
- Vibration-damped steel cavity ensuring stable output
- Production line-ready design with modular upgrades
- 35% lower energy use vs standard crushers

FAQ
1. What types of plastic waste can the CGE series crusher handle?
The CGE series is designed for broad-spectrum plastic waste crushing, including:
-
Post-industrial waste (sprues, runners, reject parts)
-
Post-consumer plastics (bottles, containers, films)
-
Rigid plastics (ABS, PS, PC, PP, HDPE, PVC)
-
Soft plastics (LDPE films, shopping bags, packaging foil)
This makes it ideal for both centralized and in-line recycling applications.
2. How does the CGE crusher contribute to efficient waste management?
The machine reduces large plastic waste into uniformly sized flakes, making storage, transport, washing, or pelletizing more efficient. It supports closed-loop recycling, helping manufacturers minimize raw material loss and meet sustainability targets.
3. What cutting technology is used in this crusher?
The CGE series adopts a V-shaped rotor design with staggered rotary and fixed blades, which ensures smooth feeding, high throughput, and uniform particle size. The rotor speed and blade angle are optimized to reduce heat buildup and energy use during crushing.
4. What are the typical output sizes of the crushed plastic?
Output sizes are determined by the replaceable screen mesh under the cutting chamber. Common screen sizes range from 8 mm to 20 mm, depending on the downstream process (e.g., washing, pelletizing, or direct reuse).
5. Is the CGE crusher suitable for continuous operation in industrial environments?
Yes. It is built with a robust welded steel housing, heavy-duty rotor shaft, and SKF or NSK bearings, allowing reliable 24/7 operation in demanding environments such as plastic recycling plants, injection molding facilities, or extrusion lines.
