Description

Designed for versatility and efficiency, our Double Stage Plastic Film Recycling Pelletizing Line handles a wide range of materials such as PE, HDPE, LDPE, PP, BOPP, PET, PA, and EPE. It accommodates different material forms, including films, bags, non-woven fabrics, and crushed materials, whether in rolls, loose, or bundled states. The system is particularly effective for recycling offcuts, defective films, and washed films, converting them into reusable pellets.

The recycling process involves feeding the plastic film into a belt conveyor, followed by compaction, extrusion through mother and baby extruders, filtration via hydraulic screen changers, pelletizing, air transmission, and finally, silo storage. This streamlined procedure ensures consistent pellet quality and operational efficiency.

Advantages

1. Enhanced Efficiency

Compared to previous designs, our second-generation film pelletizing machine achieves a 20% increase in output, optimizing production rates.

2. Reduced Energy Consumption

Innovative engineering has led to a 15% reduction in power usage, lowering operational costs and environmental impact.

3. High Automation

The system requires only two operators per production line, thanks to its advanced automation features, reducing labor costs and human error.

Products Details

Belt Conveyor

Plastic scraps such as films, filaments, and raffias are conveyed into the compactor through a belt conveyor. For roll scraps, an optional roll hauling-off device is available. The conveyor’s feeding speed is automatically adjusted based on the compactor’s load, and a metal detector can be integrated to prevent contamination.

Compactor / Agglomerator

The compactor’s rotary blades cut and heat the incoming scraps, causing them to shrink just below their agglomerating point. This process compacts the material and directs it into the extruder screw, enabling fast and stable feeding.

Extruder

A specialized single-screw extruder gently melts the pre-compacted material. The 36D processing section ensures thorough plasticization, while a double-zone vacuum degassing system effectively removes volatiles and moisture, making it suitable for heavily printed films and materials with high water content.

Water-Ring Die-Face Cutting System

The water-ring die-face cutting system features rotary cutting blades that are pneumatically fitted closely to the die-face surface, ensuring efficient cutting. The blades’ rotary speed is automatically adjusted based on melt pressure, maintaining consistent pellet quality.

Vibration Drying System

An advanced dewatering vibration sieve combined with a horizontal-type centrifugal dewatering unit delivers high-performance dried pellets with lower energy consumption. This integrated system combines crushing, compacting, and pelletizing steps, reducing labor costs and enhancing feeding efficiency, especially for films, filaments, raffia, and foaming materials.

FAQ

1. What’s the return on investment (ROI) for this machine, and how long does it take to break even?
The ROI depends on your raw material costs, production scale, and local electricity/labor rates. On average, clients recover their investment in 12 to 18 months with stable operation and consistent material sourcing. We can help you calculate a precise ROI based on your local figures.

2. Can this machine handle a mix of different film grades in one batch?
Yes, the line is designed to process blended materials such as HDPE, LDPE, and LLDPE films simultaneously. The compactor and degassing system help stabilize the melt quality when processing mixed plastic waste.

3. Is the machine compatible with our existing washing line and feeding system?
Our pelletizing line can be custom-integrated into existing upstream or downstream systems. We’ll evaluate your current setup and suggest mechanical or control system modifications if necessary for seamless operation.

4. What is the maintenance frequency and cost of spare parts?
Key wear parts like screw barrels, die plates, blades, and seals typically require inspection or replacement every 6–12 months, depending on workload. Spare parts are modular and widely available, and we offer cost-efficient maintenance kits and annual service plans.

5. How does your machine perform with high-moisture or printed film waste?
The double-stage system includes dual vacuum degassing that effectively removes residual water and ink volatiles. This makes it ideal for washed films or printed packaging waste, ensuring stable pellet output without quality degradation.

6. What technical support do you offer if we encounter issues after installation?
We provide remote troubleshooting, video guidance, and, where needed, on-site support. Our engineers can assist in machine calibration, PLC adjustments, and part replacements. We also offer optional online system monitoring modules for predictive maintenance.

7. How customizable is the pelletizing system to match our plant size or automation level?
The machine layout, feeding mode (belt, roll, screw), pelletizing method, and control level (manual/semi-auto/PLC full-auto) can all be customized based on your factory layout, manpower availability, and production preferences.

8. Do you provide training for our operators?
Yes. We provide comprehensive operator training at your site or via video, including machine operation, safety, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Instruction manuals and control system guides are available in English.

9. What certifications does your equipment have for export compliance?
Our machines are CE-certified and meet European safety and environmental standards. We can provide certificate of origin, inspection reports, and assist with any documentation required for customs clearance.

10. Can we visit your factory or see a live demo before placing an order?
Absolutely. We welcome factory visits and can also arrange online demonstrations with real-time machine operation. You can also request reference contacts from past clients in your region or industry.
